Available Speaking Opportunities
TED-Style Knowledge Sessions
Our industry is rapidly evolving and so are its data needs. Ted-Style knowledge sessions drive understanding through substantive, unique and engaging data-informed presentations. Submit proposals outlining how you can:
- Deliver a powerful, focused talk that educates the audience, showing rather than telling:
- how you came together with a partner, client, competitor to solve an industry challenge
- a great idea for an approach to solve a challenge we are facing as an industry
- a call to action to something we need to be focusing on or discussing as an industry (ie: does our use of AI require some industry wide guardrails)
- Share groundbreaking innovative solutions with supporting research, or present actionable insights and transformative ideas
- Format: 15 minute solo presentation with strong visual aids (cannot be a sales pitch)
Panel Discussions & Debates
SampleCon attendees hear a diverse variety of industry perspectives from our panel discussions and debates. Spanning experienced industry leaders, new market entrants or changemakers, we want proposals that:
- Engage in dynamic conversations around solutions for a pressing industry challenge
- Share your unique perspective alongside other industry experts
- Challenge conventional thinking and explore innovative solutions
- Submit either a complete panel lineup or suggest a topic with recommended speakers. SampleCon may adjust panel composition to include additional valuable perspectives.
- Format: 45-minute moderated discussion with 3-4 panelists plus moderator
Collaboration Lab Moderator
Collaboration Labs allow attendees to dig deep on important topics. Successful labs facilitate increased shared understanding and problem-solving often of topics explored on the mainstage. Please propose labs or people who would be good moderators that:
- Can guide roundtable discussion building off of a mainstage topic
- Facilitate meaningful dialogue among industry peers
- Drive collaborative problem-solving
- Format: 30-60-minute interactive smaller group session
Selection Criteria
We’re looking for:
- Original, thought-provoking perspectives
- Practical solutions to industry challenges
- Substantive and data-driven with evidence-based insights
- Engaging public speaking skills
- Demonstrated expertise in the insights industry
- Submissions that inform and inspire—no sales presentations, please.
What You Need to Submit
Our call for speakers form asks for the following:
- Your preferred speaking format (TED Talk, Panel Discussion, Collaboration Lab Moderator)
- Proposed session title and brief description (250 words max)
- Key takeaways for attendees
- Brief video explaining your POV on the topic
- Brief biography on you and any proposed speakers
- Links to previous speaking engagements (if available)
